چکیده
As the main lift and control component of helicopters, rotor has a complex flow field structure with unique characteristics, such as unsteadiness, paddle-vortex interference, tip vortex. Thus, it is challenging to measure field. In addition, instability accompanied by strong pulsation, which leads noise blade vibration during formation vortices. A phase-locked Stereoscopic Particle Image Velocimetry (SPIV) technique, SPIV measurement technology, phase locked technology are adopted in present study investigate The vortex, be characterized this about wake, measured technique. velocity vorticity fields at five phases presented. Then, energetic modes pulsation were extracted proper orthogonal decomposition analyze characteristics flow. Finally, three-dimensional vortex reconstructed It can seen that spiral develops toward axis.

Confined three-dimensional stability analysis of the cylinder wake.
A spatially confined stability analysis is reported for the cylinder wake at Reynolds numbers 190 and 260. The two three-dimensional instabilities at these Reynolds numbers are shown to be driven by the flow just behind the cylinder.
متن کاملRotor Wake Investigation Using the Smoke Flow Visualisation Technique
Experiments were carried out on a small four bladed rotor at different climb rates. The smoke-filament technique was used to visualise the rotor tip vortices; video equipment was then used to record the images produced. The recorded images were digitised and enhanced to assist in the identification of the vortex location. The vortex trajectories were compared with established data and with the ...
متن کاملNumerical Scrutinization of Three Dimensional Casson-Carreau Nano Fluid Flow
This study presents the computational analysis of three dimensional Casson and Carreau nanofluid flow concerning the convective conditions. To do so, the flow equations are modified to nonlinear system of ODEs after using appropriate self-similarity functions. The solution for the modified system is evaluated by numerical techniques. The results show the impacts of involving variables on flow c...
متن کاملLock-on to a high-lift state with oscillatory forcing in a three-dimensional wake flow
Flow control is applied to a three-dimensional post-stall flow around a rectangular low-aspect-ratio wing. Steady actuation is used to examine effective flow control setups that modify the vortex dynamics in the wake and achieve increase in lift. For one of the setups, oscillatory forcing is then used to examine the influence of actuation frequency. It is found that sinusoidal actuation require...
